Treasure Chests are Chests that are located in the spawns of each sub-server. (Except Creative) There are three types of Treasure Chests, Voting Treasures, Ancient Treasures and Perk Treasures. Treasure Chests were added 1st August 2015 to Skyblock, KitPvP, Prison, Survival Plots and Factions. They were added to Lobbies 4th August 2015. They were removed from Lobbies when the Cosmetic Treasures were added in 1st April 2016. Perk Treasures were added in 16th September 2016.
Originally the Treasure Chests could be right-clicked to open them and left-clicked to see the rewards. Nowadays they both can be done through a GUI Menu by right-clicking the Treasures.
Voting Treasures
Voting Treasures can be opened with Voting Keys. These Keys can be only obtained from voting for the server. Each vote grants 1 Voting Key which can open 1 Voting Treasure. The rewards vary between each sub-server. Nowadays you can get Ancient Keys from Voting Treasures.
In 1st July 2016 Cow and Pig spawners were added to the Voting Treasures on Skyblock. In 2nd September the Factions Voting Treasure rewards were changed. In 9th March the Survival Voting Treasures got currency rewards and spawners. In addition the chance of getting a beacon was increased.

Ancient Treasures
Ancient Treasures can be opened with Ancient Keys. These keys can be obtained through Voting Treasures or by donating for Ancient Keys on the server web store. Ancient Keys are sold in packages of 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20. Other players can do /Redeemkey after a player has opened an Ancient Treasure. This gives them a very small chance to receive a reward.
In the late May 2016 Enchanted Golden Apples in Factions Ancient Treasures were replaced by Creeper Eggs. In 1st July 2016 Skeleton and Blaze spawners were added to Ancient Treasures on Skyblock and the amounts of currency and beacons were changed. In 2nd September the Factions Ancient Treasure rewards were changed. In 9th March 2017 currency and spawner rewards were added to Survival and the chances of getting a beacon or Ancient gear were lowered. In 8th June 2017 Spawners were added to Ancient Treasures on Prison. In 21st June 2017 Creeper Spawners, Blast Mine Pickaxes and Creeper Egg x15 were added to the Ancient Treasures on Factions.

Perk Treasures
Perk Treasures can be opened with Perk Keys. These keys can be only obtained through buying them from the webstore. They can be bought in packages of 1,2,3,4 and 5. The Perk Treasure picks a random perk but not one that you already have, meaning there are no duplicate rewards. All rewards are permanent. The "Increased Hopper Limit" and "Bigger Island (125 x 125)" perks for Skyblock were added 7th October 2016. The additions of "Rename Any Item" perks for Prison and Survival are unknown. The "Increased Auction Limit" perk was added to KitPvP along with the reset, in 2nd December 2016. In 9th March 2017 the WorldEdit perk was removed from Survival and the Increased Auction Limit perk was added.
